This escapade began as a blog post per day containing an artfully-posed photograph of his "paper journal." He claimed posting photographs of his handwritten journal kept things organic and forced a stream-of-consciousness style. It had the additional advantage of being impossible to decipher. This lasted for two days, after which he dropped the idea and began posting normally. he images have been lost to history.

Blogger Casey began in early May, 2009. (Casey's habit of endlessly editing and deleting entries make the date impossible to determine; the first visible entry is dated May 12.) In a surprising developemt, the blog was made private a day or two later. Serin.us carried a short statement to the effect that Blogger Casey access would be granted only to those who applied through email. Casey later revealed that anyone whose email was in his address book would be approved, but, in typical Casey fashion, changed his mind and made the blog public the next day.

On May 14, he changed his mind again, stating the blog would no longer be updated, as it was distracting from his professional duties^[1].

This is the last post on this blog (for now?) and it's no longer private (there is no such thing for me as a private blog anyway).

The next entry appeared five days later following the brief 5/18/09 HaterzCast™^[2] in which Casey appeared with his employer Angel Lynn.

On May 22, 2009, apparently stinging from a rebuke by his boss, Casey declared an iron-fisted moderation policy allowing only "love, respect and understanding," only to shut off all comments a few hours later when it became obvious he wasn't getting any.

On May 27, 2009, Casey made the blog private again. The day prior, he had taken down serin.us, and the speculation amongst Haterz was that he had been rquired to completely separate all his personal activity from anything related to his work for Lynn. A new entry appeared on Lynn's blog, suggesting he was still employed. However within 24 hours, changes on her blog, along with emails from Lynn to Caseypedia and other sites referencing her made it clear that he was no longer invovled in any way.

On June 9, 2009, Blogger Casey roared back to life. Retitled Blogger Casey Serin, all earlier posts and comments were purged. The only content was a long post by Casey enthusiastically detailing his new ideas for achieving prosperity, which involve real estate and Internet marketing. Casey did not indicate any clear plans, sticking to his focus on being an ideas guy, not a details guy. Also, in this post and the subsequent comments, Casey admitted that he was no longer working for his previous employer because it had ceased to be a "win-win" situation.

Casey described his recipe for success:

A delicious combination of the two, Internet plus Real Estate, is likely where I will end up succeeding at. Like perhaps I should commit to finally putting my foreclosure story and survival tips into the hands of every struggling homeowner. The internet is the perfect marketing and delivery platform.

Early on June 21st, 2009, BloggerCasey started returning a 404 error. At first, it was assumed the site was just being intermittently reachable. Within a brief period of time, Casey's Flickr, YouTube, and Viddler accounts as well as his Blogger profile were all cleared of their contents or made private. Casey's motive for taking the blog down was the subject of much conversation among the Haterz™, but the only conclusion reached at the time was that no one knew for sure why he did it except Casey himself.
