Byron Goates

Byron Tidwell Goates (born January 25, 1963) is Nigel Swaby's boss at Integrity First Financial, Inc. Goates is also the owner of the company.

Goates was originally alleged to be the man who financed Casey Serin's trip to Salt Lake City in March 2007. Serin made mysterious allusions to a "money partner", who was identified by Swaby as a mortgage broker and investor named "G."[1][2]

Many Haterz™ quickly noted the coincidence of Goates' last initial, and the fact that he works as a Utah mortgage broker, and put two and two together. Comments on DHC charging Goates with bankrolling the trip were neither confirmed nor denied by Swaby, adding further fuel to the fire. Eventually Swaby himself outed NRU con-artist Glenn Snow as the trip's actual financier.[3]
