James E. Hansen (born May 20, 1984) is a long-time friend^[1] of Casey Serin, who posted under the handle christshippie on TrueCasey.

As of October 2008, he was the acting moderator of the TrueCasey blog. He is a case study of why one should not associate with Casey Serin while using a previous Internet pseudonym -- before he became the moderator, a MySpace page under the same name, "christshippie", was linked to a 24-year-old named James in Folsom, California.^[2] In a subsequent Flickr picture, Serin posed in a Jamba Juice with a man whom he first identified as "my moderator James" (see picture to the right). Subsequently, Serin realized that identifying someone by their real name might not be a good idea, but the damage had already been done.

Hansen was last seen picking bits of rubber bus tire from between his teeth.
