The connections guy is one-third of a typical business operation, along with the ideas guy, the details guy and the tech guy (but not the Timeline Guy™).

The connections guy's job is to spot opportunities, which arrive in their hundreds in their e-mail in-box. At the time of writing, Nigeria offers a great many exciting business opportunities, a clear sign of the fast-moving, rapidly globalizing world which true entrepreneurs need to take advantage of at any time, lest they be labeled loosers.
