Duane Franklin LeGate (born September 22, 1964) is a businessman and operator of several real estate related websites.

Duane started trading emails with Casey Serin sometime in Fall 2006. Over the course of these exchanges, Duane offered to provide Casey with some "mentoring". In January 2007 this offer was extended to a $1500/month deal in exchange for ads on IAFF and a promise by Casey to heed Duane's advice. This advice included getting a job, negotiating with creditors and exiting the real estate market.

The deal was canceled by Duane in the middle of February 2007 after about a month. Casey described this as "We gave it a shot but things didn’t work out between Duane and I.", adding "It's all good though".^[1]

Initially the status of Duane vis-a-vis Casey and Nigel was unclear, but in mid-May 2007 Duane began posting at EN and as of the time of writing is supplying Rob Dawg with his side of the story^[2].

Duane has rung two of Casey's talkcasts, on 18 May 2007 (transcribed here) and 25 May 2007 (transcribed here). On the second occasion, Casey angrily cut him off. Duane has also participated in Nigel's KoiCast.

Duane has been a fount of inside information, becoming the second person after LossMitPro to physically meet Galina Serin^[3] and state that he is convinced that Galina was manipulated^[4]. He was also the one to break the news to the Haterz™ community at EN that Casey had fled to Australia^[5].

In June 2007 Duane confronted Marty Stewart on the phone and made ominous mentions of an attack on IAFF^[6].

In late July 2007 Duane posted a series of poorly disguised postings (purpotedly) from Galina on CH.C. In these Galina adopted the stance of an innocent corrupted. Although many haterz appreciated the inside dope others have questioned DLG's motive for such a display of private information. KC's reaction was presumably "it's all good".

On the 4th episode of the KoiCast T revealed that Duane had sent Galina $1,500 for a night on the town with her friends, as well as having helped pay for her divorce attorney.
