Flailing forward

flailing forward is a long-time Haterz™ commenter at Exurban Nation and IAFF.

The name is a riff on Casey's "failing forward" mantra, but is also very evocative of the paradox of young Casey. Imagine him standing on the brink of a chasm: blue shirt, organic wax in his hair, murse swinging wildly; his arms flailing backwards as he falls over the precipice, yelling "Sweet fall! It's all gooooooooood..."

In one memorable comment he posted as an outraged Flailbert F. Forwardson; he later noted that the F. may stand for Furiously.[1][2]
