Foreclosure Fridays Live 2
From CaseyPedia
May 25th 2007: in this IAFF talkcast, Casey faces a rough ride when his brother Steve calls in.
- 0:00:00: Casey Serin
- Casey gives an update on his $1000/week challenge and touts his sponsors and advertisers.
- 0:03:00: Damion Lupo
- Premium advertiser and Kiyosaki fan Lupo plugs his book. He reveals that he has spent $250,000 on real-estate seminars: something for Casey to aspire to?
- 0:08:00: Casey Serin
- Casey wants to help people. "I even get emails from people that want to learn how to do real estate investing and, believe it or not, they're asking me for tips on how to do investing!"
- 0:08:53: LossMitPro
- Erstwhile associate LossMitPro describes his background in loss mitigation.
- 0:14:06: Bruce Collins
- Sweet link advertiser and ex-wrestling promoter describes his background ("the Casey Serin of professional wrestling") and plugs his bibles-and-UFOs internet radio show. He also feeds Casey's gold-bug tendencies with talk of a commodities bubble. You can almost hear Casey's pupils dilating.
- 0:19:06: LossMitPro
- Casey describes the trouble in his attempted business relationship with LossMitPro: "I kinda got busy and put you on the back burner." They discuss the consequences of the recent bank sale of Larchmont. Casey has no legal obligation to repay his lenders, but is strongly advised to: the "shady" nature of his loans leaves him exposed to fraud proceedings which will be triggered by the lenders' losses. In the same vein, Casey is advised that he cannot file bankruptcy until the loans reach a negotiated settlement, as the lenders will simply have the bankruptcy set aside. He is advised to continue to ignore his unsecured debts: "CashCall is the least of your problems", "tell 'em to pound sand." Casey asks for LossMitPro's professional help. Long, long silence, followed by LossMitPro stating that any services would come with certain conditions attached, including transparency on IAFF and elsewhere.
- 0:53:03: Mocha
- Detroit supporter Mocha eggs Casey on: "everybody's in debt", "I get calls all day, just change your number."
- 0:59:00: Keith Clements
- Keith is seeking foreclosure help but is on another call; he asks Casey to come back to him.
- 0:59:46: Screwrealestate (Steve Serin)
- Casey's brother Steve reams him on his shortcomings as a husband and on the effects his behavior is having on the Serin family. Casey makes agreeing noises but hears nothing. Transcript.
- 1:12:18: Keith Clements
- Keith seeks short sale advice. LossMitPro gives sound suggestions; Casey rather less so.
- 1:29:53: FlyingMonkeyWarrior
- Hater FlyingMonkeyWarrior warms Casey up with a few pool-related softballs before issuing a royal smackdown and pressing him for admissions of his illegal activities. She even manages an EN shoutout. Transcript.
- 1:44:16: Itsmecasey (Duane LeGate)
- Duane goes to bat for the second week running; Casey is having none of it and hangs up on him. Transcript.
- 1:47:44: Brian5
- Hater Brian5 (an EN regular using a guessed PIN?) takes Casey to task: "You are the last person to have anything to say about integrity about anything at all" and defends himself adeptly against Casey's "weasel tactics". Shoutouts to EN, Sprezzatura, FlyingMonkeyWarrior, BelowTheCrowd, Rob Dawg, and Akubi
- 1:51:27: Marty2007 (Marty Stewart)
- Supporter Marty2007 puffs Casey's ego by praising his entrepreneurial qualities.
- 2:02:11: Dolph
- Realist Dolph ("I'm not a hater, I don't know what a hater is; I'm a realist, dude") quizzes Casey on his personal and corporate taxes and points out Casey's persistent ignoring of offered advice. He also summarizes many haterz' positions: "I don't hate you. I've never hated you. I just have strong opinions of you. See, that's the problem here. Nobody hates you. We just have strong opinions of your behavior."
- 2:13:12: Casey Serin
- "Yay the haters." Casey signs off "a very, very fun talkshow" of "lots of great stuff".
