IAFF Talkcast 11
From CaseyPedia
|
July 27th 2007: Casey holds a talkcast from Sacramento's Infusion Cafe on 17th and K. He was initially planning on holding it from the Capital Garage, his previous location, but the wifi at the Capitol Garage was down due to excessive mooching of the hotel guests next door. Hmm.
Hater Elizabeth attended the fraudcast and after-hours chat and reported her impressions of Casey and his supporterz.

[edit] Opening Statements
(0:00:07)
- CASEY
- Welcome, everybody, to another edition of I Am Facing Foreclosure.com talkcast. As you know, IAmFacingForeclosure.com is closing in about 7 days. I'm going away for a while and, so... this is gonna be the second to last one. Uh, the other location, the Capital City Garage, their internet didn't work, so I'm gonna do it here out of Infusion Cafe, which is on 17th and K. If anybody wants to swing by, live, you can do that, or you can call in. There's uh, nobody here at the moment, although some people are looking kind of strange at me: some guy talking to his computer... but it's alright. So we're gonna take some calls, uh, the only thing is, there are certain things I can't talk about, certain lawsuits pending and all that, so... um... as usual. So we'll see. And I have very very low patience for any haterz that try to call in, so we're gonna have to mute people real quick.

- I'm not trying to trap you! You're just trying, you know, I'm ju--
- CASEY
- I'm, I'm muting-- I'm just sick of Annie. Um... I'll just say one thing. Of course, of course we're in it to share and pay off each others' debt and this and that. The same time, there's got to be communication. Unfortunately there hasn't been any. And so it's really hard for me to figure out what's going on on the other side. And at this point I just have to do what I have to do. And one thing is, um, I have to stay out of-- out of trouble, for one. And, er, consult all my professionals, not do stupid stuff from now on.
(0:25:41)
- CASEY
- So, moving on to, ah, CaptainChaos. (long pause, talks over CaptainChaos's greeting) CaptainChaos.
- CAPTAINCHAOS
- Yeah, I'm here still. I don't know what to say, Casey, I think. You know, if you could just, any time you get an urge to do something, just do the opposite. You'll probably be all right.
- CASEY
- (quietly) Okay. Sounds good man.
[edit] Aeroscapes
(0:26:08)
- CASEY
- All right, moving on then. Let's see, who did we not get? We'll go with, um, Aeroscapes. Uh, Aeroscapes, you there?

- TRAPPER1
- Hey Casey, how's it going?
- CASEY
- Hello.
- TRAPPER1
- Hey. Well, I really don't know what to say. I guess if you can't talk about the wife, the blog sale, the FBI, Mark...
- CASEY
- I know, what can I talk about, right? (laughs)

[edit] StainlessGranite
(0:29:40)
- CASEY
- Okay, moving on to... who did we not get yet? StainlessGranite. StainlessGranite, go ahead.
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Oh hi Casey! Um, I just wanted to ask, did you read what Duane posted on, ah, ah, the caseyhaterz site today? And that's my only question, so you can go ahead and mute me.
- CASEY
- Um... well I'll keep you open, in case you want to do a followup, but... you know (sigh) you're like the third person to ask me this. Okay, I did see him post some threats, and he's still keeping this circus going apparently, but... but I didn't see anything else. But I heard there's more to it. So we'll have to check it out tonight. (long pause) And, um -- did you have any more comments on that, or are you good?
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Hm, no, I knew, I knew you were just going to--
- CASEY
- (interrupts) What do you think of that, what do you think of all these threats and blackmail and all that?
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Hm, um... I think, I think you kind of have it coming there.
- CASEY
- Yeah?
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Yeah.
- CASEY
- You think I deserve it?
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Um... I think your behavior has, ah, um... yeah. Yeah, you brought it on yourself.
- CASEY
- Hmm.
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- So go ahead and-- I just want to listen.
- CASEY
- All right.
[edit] CHJTS
(0:30:52)
- CASEY
- Okay, let's move on to, back up to the top of the roster... with... hold on, let's... okay, we've got... hold on, we've got Mr C. H. J. T. S. Shark, Casey Has Jumped The Shark on here. Go ahead, Mr. Shark.
- CHJTS
- Casey! What's happening?
- CASEY
- Hey man.

- CASEY
- Okay, let's see if there's anybody who I haven't... given the chance to. (pause) Okay, we're going to go to the bottom, then we're gonna start at the top, 'kay.
[edit] HolidayInn
(0:42:53)
- CASEY
- Um, we'll give HolidayInn and StainlessGranite another shot, because they didn't get a chance. HolidayInn, do you want to say something?
- HOLIDAYINN
- Hi, ah, Casey.
- CASEY
- Yeah.
- HOLIDAYINN
- I have a very short question for you.
- CASEY
- Yeah.
- HOLIDAYINN
- What do you think is, um, what do you think is a just sentence, or a just punishment, for your mortgage fraud? For your crimes?
- CASEY
- (flatly) I don't want to talk about it.
- HOLIDAYINN
- All right! Well, that's it.
- CASEY
- (quietly) Okay. All right man.
(0:43:21)
- CASEY
- Moving on. StainlessGranite.
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Hi there Casey, this is StainlessGranite again. Um--
- CASEY
- Oh, did I already get you last time?
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Yeah, well you just moved around. The only reason I called in is because TalkShoe is not compatible with Linux.
- CASEY
- Oh, you just wanted to listen?
- STAINLESSGRANITE
- Yeah.
- CASEY
- Okay, no problem. All right, StainlessGranite.
(43:45)
- CASEY
- All right, moving on. Casey4Life, go ahead.
- CASEY4LIFE
- Hey, sorry, I'm just listening as well.
- CASEY
- What was that?
- CASEY4LIFE
- Sorry, I'm jut listening as well.
- CASEY
- Oh, just listening? All right, Casey4Life--
- CASEY4LIFE
- Yeah (mumbles) All right, thanks a lot.
[edit] VOICE
(0:44:00)
- CASEY
- Okay. Moving onto Voice, Voice.
- VOICE
- Hello?
- CASEY
- Yeah.
- VOICE
- How're you doing there?
- CASEY
- Go ahead, Voice.
- VOICE
- Can you hear me okay?
- CASEY
- Yeah, I can hear you.
- VOICE
- All right, good.

[edit] Chief100
(0:53:38)
- CASEY
- All right, let's see who else we've got on here. Chief100, let's go with Chief.
- CHIEF100
- How're you doing Casey?
- CASEY
- Crazy.
- CHIEF100
- (laughs) Great.
This transcription is incomplete. You can help CaseyPedia by completing it.
- CASEY
- That was Chief100, thanks for the positivity, constructive criticism, and the keyword is constructive.
- And so, let's, lets just move on here. (pause) Think we got everybody, let's see if there's anybody new. We'll start back at the top and we'll hit everybody else again. See if there's any more juiciness we can talk about. Any, any sweet topics. There's a lot we can't talk about, but let's see what we can do. Aeroscapes, back to you. (pause) Aeroscapes, check check. (pause) Okay, we'll catch you next time.
[edit] CaptainChaos
(1:10:13)
- CASEY
- CaptainChaos, any more comments?
- CAPTAINCHAOS
- Hey Casey.
- CASEY
- Hey.
- CAPTAINCHAOS
- Hey, how are you doing? Or is that a rhetorical question these days?
- CASEY
- Yeah, exactly. It's all right. I've been using the word crazy because it does define kind of what's been going on. It's gone from itsallgood to crazy, that's been the latest thing.
This transcription is incomplete. You can help CaseyPedia by completing it.
- CASEY
- All right, thanks Chaos.
- Moving on to... okay, we're going to skip Chief because we just had him on... we got lots of people listening. But we, ah... okay.
[edit] RoadsideBomb
(1:12:29)
- CASEY
- Oh, new person, RoadsideBomb. Go ahead.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- Hey Casey.
- CASEY
- Is this, is this going to be a bomb?
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- No, no, no. No bomb at all.
- CASEY
- Okay, good.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- How are you, man?
- CASEY
- Crazy.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- Yeah, yeah, I hear you. Well, just hang in there. Hey, you know, ah, this guy Duane, he's, I've just started reading this, he's been slinging a lot of, a lot of, like, garbage and dirt on you.
- CASEY
- Yeah. What can you do? That guy's been doing it for months now. Months! After our relationship business-wise has been long over, they guy keeps coming around. So if you're new to it, you can go back and really read plenty of background. And then, we were going to do that whole settlement last time, and that's, um, like the blog sale, and if you listen to a few talkcasts back we had this happy-go-lucky, this like coming-together one, and... Then I realized, this whole thing was really manipulative. And the guy promised he was going to stop talking about me. And then it, and then it, I take a few hours off, I leave the office, I come back and I see all these angry emails. And he's backing out. Next thing you know, he's calling for a talkcast to dish out more crap at me, where the night before, he promised we'd do internet truce. And I haven't been talking about him. You know that. If you've been readin'. I mean just a little bit, to respond to a little bit of that stuff, but... Anyway, I'm rambling now, I don't want to give the guy any more energy. I just don't want to think about the guy.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- Yeah, but, eh -- you know, there's this one little thing that's been bothering me, when I read about it, I found this incredibly disturbing about what he's saying. He's saying that you, er, were dating another woman for a while? On a business trip?
- CASEY
- Oh man.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- And I'm like, whoa, where did this come from?
- CASEY
- He's serious?
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- So I'm wondering if you can just refute that and put that to rest, because--
- CASEY
- That is, that is a compl-- okay, I wasn't going to get into some of this stuff, but with outright lies, I have to set the record straight. That is an outright lie. I wasn't dating nobody. Now if he's mentioning my previous business trip, 2006, um, there was an instance where, um, I went to hang out with... some girl. And, but I told my wife about it. And... we cleared all that up. You know? I wasn't like keeping nothing a secret. And now, um, so there was an opportunity to... be unfaithful, but I never took that step. And I probably shouldn't have even gone to hang out, for coffee, with this girl. But you know, we just... became friends a little bit there and... but it didn't go anywhere. So, um, so yeah, I mean but-- it's just amazing, he'll take one little thing, he'll spin this huge story around it, and... Anyway. No use. I'm going away in seven days. I just hope the guy leaves me alone. If he doesn't... um, I'm not going to go back up on the internet and fight him back on the internet. I'm just going to keep ignoring the guy. I hope he has the sense to, to, to leave me alone, leave my wife alone, leave the marriage alone. Even if she's coming to him, it doesn't matter. The guy should have the common sense. And he himself is married, he knows, the most destructive thing you can do to a relationship is interfere and take sides and pretend you're doing something good.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- Right.
- CASEY
- It's destructive.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- Well thanks for clearing that up, Casey. I appreciate it and, er, just hang in there and good luck.
- CASEY
- Yeah, and there's-- there's none of that going on. If I cheated on any-- with anybody, it'd be my blog and my business. I mean, I've been spending so much time with it, the blog and the business has become my quote-unquote mistress. But I already talked about it in the past.
- ROADSIDEBOMB
- Okay, well best of luck Casey.
- CASEY
- Thanks, appreciate it.
[edit] CHJTS
(1:15:43)
- CASEY
- All right, so let's go on to... okay, if we don't have anybody else new, we'll go back to... Shark, go ahead Shark.
- CHJTS
- Casey!
This transcription is incomplete. You can help CaseyPedia by completing it.
- CASEY
- All right, thanks Shark.
- All right, guys. Hour thirty-five minutes, here I am at Infusion Cafe, Sacramento. K and Seventeenth Street. Ah, it's gotten, it's nice and quiet here, so I can actually hear what you guys are saying. Let's see if we can get a few more people here. We're going through the cycle one more time. If you have nothing to say, just listening, just let me know. Just so I can move on and not say "check check" for a long time.
[edit] Trapper1
(1:35:37)
- CASEY
- Okay, Trapper1. Any more to say?
- TRAPPER1
- Hey, yeah.
- CASEY
- 'Kay, go ahead.
- TRAPPER1
- Casey, just wondering, er, actually, Homey wants to know, er, about Res-Com.
- CASEY
- Oh-ho, Res-Com! Might as well address it. It's so funny, these guys are going around saying I was doing some shady stuff at Res-Com. Let me set the record straight. Res-Com was shady. It was a shady company, it was a little small business, um, I didn't know they were doing some of this stuff shady until I got there. And I didn't stay there long. Literally, ah (unintelligible) stayed there for just a couple of months, I think, before um, we got married and moved to Lake Tahoe. I just-- I mean, there was a one time where they didn't have money to pay the employees! And that was a W-2 job, so... that's not good. Ah-ha, it was a crazy environment--
- TRAPPER1
- So, what was that all about anyway? I don't really, ah, I don't really remember the story on that. Wasn't there some criminal activities going on there?
- CASEY
- Ah, now, the stuff that's on the internet actually happened after I left, and the, the guy who made the complaint I still kind of keep in contact with. And he referred to my name in that complaint, I think, and that's where people think I'm part of that whole thing. But the big-- I don't know if there was a crack-down, or what happened, but... I honestly don't know what ended up happening after I left. But before I left, what was going on is: they were just selling these courses on how to become like a mortgage-- er, no, not a mortgage, a mold remediator and inspector, house inspector. And the courses weren't bad, but it was kind of like guru material. A lot of the gurus is. It was fluff, it was overpriced, and there, and there was a lot of, like, promises made to some of the people taking the courses that they were going to get jobs, and there was some technicalities where people didn't get jobs. I don't remember all the full story. I just know there was a lot of returns happening, a lot of people were not happy, and I was like: man, this, this isn't too good. I was just doing internet work for them. Setting up their websites, and that kind of stuff. I didn't know what was really going on in the back room. Um, but... yeah, I'm glad I didn't stay there long enough to, to have seen what happened. I really don't know what the end result was.
- TRAPPER1
- Yeah, I bet. Now, did that kind of get you started in this thing, or... was that--
- CASEY
- (snorts) No.
- TRAPPER1
- Huh?
- CASEY
- (amused) No.
- TRAPPER1
- No?
- CASEY
- I was just just there to-- to-- to-- to-- to get, get paid, do my work, get paid, leave, you know. I was, we were getting married, and I thought well, I had enough money to survive. This was after I sold my condo and I had that, like, thirty grand or thirty-five grand. And we're, I was going to kind of live on that until we get married, and I was going to get into some decent job. This job kind of turned up, and I was running low on money, so I'm like, hey, I'll take this job for a few months.
- TRAPPER1
- Right.
- CASEY
- Then we got married, moved to Lake Tahoe, and... that's it.
- TRAPPER1
- Got it. But-- okay. So, now, okay, here's one for you. Now, you've got all-- you've got like, what is it, four lawyers and an accountant now? Have you paid retainers on all, on everyone?
- CASEY
- Some of those.
- TRAPPER1
- Gosh, Casey, I can't imagine how you can afford that. I mean--
- CASEY
- How can I not afford it?
- TRAPPER1
- Well I know, but... it, if you have no credit, and you... I mean, you have limited funds, I can't-- I, I mean, is somebody helping you with those bills? Or...
- CASEY
- Some of it.
- TRAPPER1
- Okay.
- CASEY
- Remember I was, um, remember I was--
- TRAPPER1
- Hopefully that means family is helping you. With--
- CASEY
- Oh no, family is not helping me. Remember I was, ah, taking donations? A few posts back?
- TRAPPER1
- Ah-huh.
- CASEY
- So I, I got-- I mean, I'll reveal it, I might as well, I got about five hundred dollars in donations and small amounts from different people--
- TRAPPER1
- Yeah.
- CASEY
- --to help me with the civil lawsuit. But it's costing me a lot more than that, so, if anyone wants to give me more, I'm, I'm here! But yeah, unfortunately, the last bit of savings I had in order to carry me into the next thing is being, um, is being applied towards all these retainers and all these lawyers. But I can't-- I have to do it. I can't, like, if I don't do it I'm going to get more screwed in the end. So...
- TRAPPER1
- No, totally agree with you. Totally agree with you. It's just, it, I mean-- God, I thought the one that you, er, that you hired to, for that Superior Court, for ah LossMit, that-- 'cause you had a fifteen hundred dollar retainer there.
- CASEY
- Yeah.
- TRAPPER1
- I thought that would have pretty much wiped you out. And even though you got five hundred dollars, with four different attorneys and an accountant? (laughs) Casey, that ain't even going to buy you a phone call! I mean I can't, I can't even imagine.
- CASEY
- Well. Like I said, I do what I can. Some of them are giving me initial, um, what do you call them, like first time you come in they give you some advice.
- TRAPPER1
- Right.
- CASEY
- Um, some of 'em-- some of 'em I just have to scrape up the money and pay it. I mean, I have money saved over from the advertising. 'Cause my advertisers prepaid for a month. And that's one of the reasons I'm keeping the blog going until August third, because I'm giving them value. That way I don't have to refund that money. 'Cause definitely, I'm putting that money to use now.
- TRAPPER1
- Yeah. No, you know, I certainly understand your ambivalence about talking about, your reluctance in talking about Duane, and the situation now that he's posting, um... But it, it looks to me as if he's basically a muse for, for Galina. For your wife. And... and so, everything, I mean, it looks to me like three-quarters of the stuff that he's posted is basically been her words. So don't you think after all of this time -- and I'm, I mean seriously, I'm not trying to beat you up -- but after all of this time, don't you think that after hearing your side of the the story that it's, finally, for her to get a voice in this?
- CASEY
- You mean, er, are you saying that it should be justified bringing all this dirt out?
- TRAPPER1
- Well, I-- what I, what I'm saying is that it sounds like that she is asking Duane to be a muse, to give her a voice.
- CASEY
- Well yeah.
- TRAPPER1
- She doesn't want to post it, she's asking him to help her post it. I mean, that's the way it sounds. I don't know if that's true, but that's the way it's sounding like.
- CASEY
- Well it, it seems, it seems that way. I mean, I know just as much as you do, unfortunately. I wish I had more information, but sure, I really don't.
- TRAPPER1
- But don't you think though, I mean, that regardless that if it's Duane or somebody else, that it should be okay for her to have a voice in this? And to, to give her side of things?
- CASEY
- This whole thing has turned into such a crazy thing that--
- TRAPPER1
- I know.
- CASEY
- That's why I'm trying to leave the internet now, because-- Of course, now she, she wants to put some of this info out there. And I'm sure some of it is because of the, the pain I've caused. And I admit to it, I've caused a lot of pain to the relationship. But the thing is... do you really think it's going to improve the relationship by going back on the internet and putting more dirt out there? I mean (unintelligible)--
- TRAPPER1
- Yeah, but she's hurt.
- CASEY
- Yeah, I mean it-- honestly, I don't hold it against her, if this is a way for her to vent, that's fine. I just don't think these internet characters, circus leaders, should be involved, because... I mean yeah, they think they're doing a good thing for her, but again: when you get in the middle of a conflict, you start choosing sides, and it, all it does is draw people against each other. It's creating more of a warfare environment than anything else!
- TRAPPER1
- Yeah. Um, no, I, I agree. But you need to, er, I would, ah, God, see what you can do to get in contact with here and ah, hm, talk it out. I will leave you with: how is your trash going out?
- CASEY
- Well I'm not there any more, so I'm not doing trash.
- TRAPPER1
- (snorts) You're not even doing trash where you are?
- CASEY
- (quietly) Well, I don't have to do trash where I am.
- TRAPPER1
- Oh come on Casey! (laughs)
- CASEY
- (laughs slightly nervously)
- TRAPPER1
- All right, have a good night.
- CASEY
- (talks over her) Why don't you leave on that, why don't you leave on a, a happy moment I guess. Sounds good.
- TRAPPER1
- There you go.
- CASEY
- How about this, how about this: I have been seventy-five percent successful at the last place with the trash.
- TRAPPER1
- (laughs)
- CASEY
- And here, I'm, ah, I guess you can say zero percent. But, I didn't have to do it yet.
- TRAPPER1
- There you go. Thanks Casey.
- CASEY
- Well thanks, yeah thanks for calling in.
- All right, moving on to... let's see, did I not get somebody? Shout it out if you're in the interface. Oh, we've got TalkshoeGuest1 I haven't gotten yet, and I think Sebastian. So let me see who else. Oh, we've got BadjerJim. So you guys get ready if you want to talk-- oh, we've got Nigel on here. Um, we'll give all you guys a shot. Don't worry. (phone rings) Oh crap! Someone's calling me on my other phone. Hold on. (answers phone) Hey man, let me call you back. All right, thanks, bye. (back to microphone) Okay, somebody was calling me.
[edit] BadjerJim
(1:44:06)
- CASEY
- All right, let's go with... um, we'll just start from the top. For all the new people that showed up. We'll go with BadjerJim.
- BADJERJIM
- Hey Casey, BadjerJim!
- CASEY
- Hey.

[edit] Closing Statements
(1:47:59)
- CASEY
- Let me do this-- ah, sorry to cut you off, but this place here, Infusion, the coffee shop, they're closing.
- BADJERJIM
- Okay.
- CASEY
- What I'm going to do is go to my car and try to continue this talkcast from the car. If, if the wi-fi reaches that far. All right?
- BADJERJIM
- All right, sounds great.
- CASEY
