Ideas guy

The ideas guy is the most important part of a business operation, though their natural brilliance is often held back by the details guys. These are loosers whose advice can safely be ignored, especially if it relates to deadlines, imminent visits from creditors, and so on.

Casey Serin fancies himself an ideas guy. He has noted the following examples of ideas that he generated by himself:

• The idea to invest in real estate at the absolute peak of the market.
• The idea to start a blog detailing things most people would be embarrassed to reveal.
• The idea to somehow generate income without working.
• The idea to never again waste money on a haircut.
• The idea to associate with a person who is arguably the sleaziest internet promoter in the world.
• The idea to self-publish a foreclosure book.

The procedure for profiting from any of the above ideas was left to the details guy, in Serin's mind. Paradoxically, Serin merely came up with the idea to partner with a details guy, while neglecting to find one (because actually locating a details guy would ostensibly be something only a details guy could do!).

If the ideas guy has too many ideas, as is frequently the case, they then need to perform a braindump, so that the lowly inferior beings with fewer ideas can catch up with their brilliance.

Often, the ideas guy and the connections guy are one and the same. However, they are rarely details guys, for reasons stated above.
