John Christopher Hoarty (born May 12, 1961) is one of Casey Serin's advertisers on IAFF, promoting his online business QuickEStore.[1] He lives in North Carolina.

In posting on his QuickEStore blog defending Serin, he stated that he was "impressed beyond measure with the kid’s courage and resolve" and called Casey "a super great guy," "delightful and engaging," and "neither greedy nor lawless."[2][3] Hoarty later declined Serin's offer to renew his sweet links advertisement.

On July 5th, 2007, facing possible legal action from Mark Villaseñor, Serin published an e-mail he received from Hoarty:

Casey, I am not a lawyer, but this I know … you have never profited from criminal activity. You are not currently profiting from criminal activity. What’s missing is the crime, and you have never been charged, much less convicted, of a crime. So, no criminal activity. Your blog is completely legal, and Dumbass has no case at all. I would venture to say that you won’t even need to show up to explain this to the judge. It’s the first thing he’s going to ask.
Judge: “If Mr. Serin is illegally profiting from criminal activity, then what is the exact nature of the crime?”
M.V.: “He is guilty of mortgage fraud and other financial crimes”
Judge: “Was he charged and convicted of these crimes?”
M.V.: “No, your honor”.
Judge: “Then, are YOU formally charging him with these crimes?”
M.V.: “No, you honor”
Judge: “Then get the HELL OUT OF MY COURTROOM! I SHOULD CHARGE YOU WITH CONTEMPT FOR THIS FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT, YOU FRICKIN WANNABE!!!”
That’s about how it will go down, in my opinion. Just trying to put you at ease a little. You have enough to worry about without this crap.
Good luck, John Hoarty (aka Rich Rooskie)[4]
