KoiCast
From CaseyPedia
The KoiCast is a creation of Nigel Swaby, who saw a sweet opportunity to fill the vacuum that CHJTS has created by his sissyfight and to generate some sweet 2759 traffic. The November 6, 2007 KoiCast is the fist "Official" talkshoe talkcast hosted by Swaby promising to be mostly, if not all Casey Serin and FHB related. Given the rumors swirling around the current state of FHB, many haterz have been baiting both Casey and Damion Lupo in an effort to draw them out into making verbal fools of themselves.

[edit] Episode 1 - October 29, 2007
Nigel moderates a RECast/HaterzCast with hopes of luring Casey and Damion to call in and discuss their latest scam[1]. After the event, Nigel rated the talkcast a "marginal success."[2].
This first talkcast included an "FHB representative" who called in to the show. Nigel describes it thusly: "When I set up the talkcast, I sent an invitation to Casey. Much to my surprise, a 'representative' from FHB was in the audience list. That 'representative' turned out to be Casey who answered some questions. The most bizarre, and Caseylike behavior, was the 'representative' insisted on speaking of Casey instead of as Casey. For some reason Casey felt that by referring to himself in the third person, he wasn't violating his promise to stay offline. Reality parsing at it's finest."[3]
[edit] Episode 2 - November 6, 2007
Nigel renamed the RECast/HaterzCast to KoiCast.[4] This KoiCast coincided shortly after Damion had been thrown under the bus. Sadly, neither Damion nor Casey called into the talkcast.
[edit] Episode 3 - November 12, 2007
The third KoiCast was scheduled as an "emergency KoiCast"[5] in order to discuss Casey's newest venture, EMH. Casey called into the show, but he appeared listless and his half-hearted and non-committal answers to questions lacked any Caseyisms and trolling material.
[edit] Episode 4 - November 20, 2007
The fourth KoiCast was billed as the "Final KoiCast"; leading up to the KoiCast, Nigel promised a "mystery guest"[6], who turned out to be LostMitPro. The first half hour of the KoiCast was especially dull, but livened up as many Casey drama regulars called in, including: Duane LeGate, M. SINGH, Annie, T, and even Casey himself.
The call became quite dramatic when T outed Duane for having sent $1,500 to Galina for a night out on the town with her friends, as well as assisting in paying for her divorce attorney. Duane responded by throwing a fit, cursing and yelling at T. Other memorable moments in the call included Casey's admission that he has a W-2 job now as a marketer with an MLM, herbal penis enhancement company in Sacramento. He also announced his continued belief that he and G can reconcile their marriage and that he is not stalking her.
[edit] Episode 5 - January 15, 2008
The fifth KoiCast was also dubbed the "Final KoiCast", though the recently-announced future airing of the Dr. Phil episode was acknowledged to necessitate a subsequent sixth episode. ModestoGirl was featured for much of the show, along with appearances by WeWantTheFunk, Annie, and TheDude.
[edit] Episode 6 - January 22, 2008
KoiCast the Sixth (the final final KoiCast NO REALLY)[7] was held in a bar at Snowbird, a ski resort in the mountains above Salt Lake City. Besides Nigel, in attendance were BelowTheCrowd and WeWantTheFunk. The Snowbird location was chosen because BTC had journeyed from his usual Southern California digs in a a spectacularly successful effort to ski powder and also to hit on a particularly hot female member of the staff, whom WWTF would later describe as "absolutely stunning and what in hell she's doing hanging around a mutant like BTC completely baffles me."[8]. Nigel and WeWantTheFunk were briefly in contact with Casey by cell phone while braving the snow on their way up the canyon, and invited him to participate. Unfortunately, a lack of massive focused action on his part prevented him from calling in. Notable callers included T and TheDude, but lacking any serious new material the festivities were cut short after 90 minutes.
[edit] Episode 7 - August 26, 2008
The first KoiCast to occur after Casey's re-emergence as TrueCasey, this KoiCast featured an interview segment followed by a listener Q&A segment, during both of which Casey proceeded to give vague answers and evade most of the questions. Nigel stated before the KoiCast that his goal was to "make Casey cry," a goal that was unquestionably failed. Nigel later attributed this to the fact that Casey "has no soul."
[edit] Episode 8 - September 19, 2008
The last KoiCast, which also heralded Nigel's departure from the Haterz camp. It was also unique in that Casey not only participated throughout the KoiCast, but was also present in person for the duration, having been flown in to Salt Lake City by Nigel, BTC and WWTF. BTC declined to actually participate in the KoiCast, but was present in person and is reported to have consumed at least five beers as part of his attempt to deal with being in close proximity to Casey. Unfortunately, the KoiCast took place in a loud bar on a Friday night and the choice of table was dictated by Nigel's need to be close to a power outlet for his notebook. BTC said later that he had presumed the KoiCast would take place from the quieter patio area, but had failed to recognize that Nigel did not own a laptop that could be powered using a modern power device called a battery. The venue also lacked wi-fi, and the festivities were negatively influenced by the idiosyncrasies of Nigel's cell modem. As in other recent KoiCasts, Casey offered evasive answers and refused to discuss many topics. BTC, Nigel and WWTF were criticized by many Haterz for providing Casey with a plane ticket to attend in person. Casey later lived with Nigel for two weeks and was eventually kicked out and sent home by Greyhound bus.
