Listening to Legal Advice

July 8th 2007: in this IAFF post, Casey actually takes notice of advice and stops discussing his lawsuit.

Casey has consulted "a real business litigation lawyer", and is advised to "take down any posts that might give the other party any ammo". Miracle of miracles, he listens to the advice.

He intends to "ignore the whole non-sense for now" and "save all the juice" to "fight in court when required".

It is unclear whether Casey paid his lawyer with real money or with Magic Exposure Beans.

As a result of the advice, Casey deletes these three posts:

Casey comments to reassure readers that "I have lots of “juice” for me to share in court if needed."^[1]

Asked "How’d you get ahold of a lawyer on Sunday?",^[2] Casey responds: "I was also pretty surprised the lawyer was willing to take a large portion of his Sunday afternoon to help me out." and notes "I’m glad there are still some good people left in this world."^[3]

Casey rewards a supportive comment from Sweet Links advertiser William Tingle^[4] with "a shout-out" and a plug of his second-tier-guru website: "I’ve always been fascinated by the strategy because it is some SWEET arbitrage."^[5]

Asked about his book, Casey updates us on progress: "coming along quite nicely. I’m editing it as we speak."^[6]
