I know it's been a loooooong time since my last updated to the mailing list. (I like to do monthly updates.)

Now the rest of the update...
Basically out of the 8 homes I bought laster year, I sold 2 and got foreclosed on 5 homes. I still have one left in Utah, kinda. It was sold on a wrap-around mortgage. If that gets "un-wrapped" then I may have another foreclosure coming. Hopefully not.
As a result of my open blogging I have been featured by all sorts of media and websites in the last 8-9 months: Sacramento Bee, San Francisco Chronicle, Scotsman Guide, The Economist, ABC Nightline, Suze Orman, Robert Kiyosaki, recently front page of MSN, etc...
The exposure has brought lots of great contacts and opportunities.
For example I've been invited to work as a commission-only account executive for a large capital brokerage firm out of Utah. We do commercial loans and private equity for projects $10 million and up.
We also have a TON of big deals available. From prime developments in Costa Rica to private-sale buildings in San Francisco to billion-dollar casinos in Las Vegas to pools of mortgage notes, to an NBA team and gold mine for sale... you name it!
If you need big money or have big money to place, let me know! (brokers protected)
Fun stuff...
You see, I've been blessed with a lot of other great opportunities... like writing a foreclosure book, speaking opportunities, strategic partnerships, etc. In fact I have too many! I've had a hard time staying focused and unfortunately have been neglecting my responsibility as a husband to provide for stable income.
So recently my wife has had enough of it and called for immediate changes. We negotiated a deal... in fact an ULTIMATUM:
I must generate $1,000 per week EVERY WEEK or I must shut down the blog, give up my computer and cell phone and get a W-2 job with no business for two years!!
Oh crap!!!
Nothing wrong with a job but I got too used to being self-employed and have too many opportunities and deals in the works. I need time to work those. At the same time I need to provide stable income and be responsible. So I have to prove I can do that first...
