Mistake
From CaseyPedia
Mistake means to make an error.
In CaseySpeak, though, a mistake is also a shady or illegal deal - the term is meant to be used interchangeably, with no repercussions. The only thing that matters is what Casey Serin tried to accomplish, not the way he did things or the criminal implications of his actions.
A mistake, therefore, is never a criminal act for Casey. Since all of his failures are mistakes, Casey believes there's no reason for him to be prosecuted.
- Man… does this hit close to home or what. There whole reason i’m in this mess could be boiled down to this. Getting overleveraged with reale estate, making mistakes and then trying to keep everything afloat without stable income.[1]
Notice how "lying on loan applications", "lying about my income", "lying about me living in those houses" are mere details which are way too unimportant to mention.
