Naked
From CaseyPedia
Naked is a term used by gawky scarecrow Casey Serin to describe his supposedly tell-all blogging style.
Having previously dallied with "keeping it real" and "transparent", Serin latched onto the phrase "naked" after a Wired cover used the phrase Get Naked and Rule the World to describe a story on business blogging.[1][2] Serin went on to devote an entire post to his "naked" blogging philosophy, ending with an outcry against the haterz:[3]
- Perhaps I have not been very good about explaining things or I have given you partial information. I need to get better at that. But still, why do you have to jump to conclusions? Don’t you see that I’m naked here and trying to make something out of my situation… What do I have to do to get support around here?
Many haters find this distasteful, partly because Serin is habitually cagy and evasive in his writing, but mostly because the thought of Serin's scrawny, pale nakedness is a stomach-churning image.
