One Serial Entrepreneur to Another
From CaseyPedia
July 7th 2007: in this post on IAFF, Casey receives a supportive email that sends him into an itsallgood upswing.
Serial failure Casey receives an email from a "serial entrepreneur" that validates all his opinions of the "W2 rat race crowd" and which defends his shady practices:
- as far as liar loans and other white collar crimes…i’d say most multi-millionaires and all politicians are guilty of it. it’s the sheeple who fall behind and don’t take advantage of loopholes in the system.
Casey, of course, laps this up, with one misgiving:
- The only part I’m not sure I completely agree is that “white collar crime” is all good. I don’t think it’s OK to cheat but I do believe in knowing and taking advantage of of the system to increase efficiency (within bounds).
He continues to build foundations for his comeback saga:
- The odds keep stacking against me. But that means the victory is gonna be even sweeter! [...] It’s only a matter of time. Not IF but WHEN. I can see and taste success in all areas of life, including marriage.
Attending a family wedding, Casey reflects on his marriage:
- Sometimes I stop and think about it, like I did today when I was at my cousin’s wedding - listening to the singing, enjoying some great food, sipping hot tea and daydreaming. It made me think about her, the one I love and miss.
The one you betrayed? Casey goes on to describe money as "a tool to bless those around me, starting with the loved one and then the loved ones" before ending on a frankly masochistic note:
- I love this life. I enjoy every minute of it. Thanks to all the supporterz and haterz. Everybody is a blessing in their own way. Even those who oppose me are really helping me. Isn’t that great?
[edit] Comments
Casey censors a number of comments, but the feedback is predominantly negative: "Are the two of you serial entreprenuers, or more precisely serial felons?"[1]
Casey returns later to answer some questions, including an answer to "what the hell is wrong with your eyes": "For some reason they have been very dry and red lately." Well boo hoo hoo.[2]
Casey responds specifically to one commenter, Doug, offering advice on dealing with his problems[3][4] with a "thanks for the tips"[5]; his correspondent responds:
- The question is Casey: Will you act on these tips? I mean actual action. Not Massive focused action or plan of attack or its all good or any of the other catch phrases you use.[6]
Doug also challenges Casey on his "everybody does it" defense:
- Claiming that “everyone was doing stated loans” does not make it legal. [...] You took it to the next level by trying to buy and sell multiple houses at the same time while representing yourself as living in all of them. That is where it stops being common stupidity and wanders into the category of fraud.[7]
Casey weakly responds "I’m not proud of what I did in the past either" before changing the subject: "As for attorneys and CPAs…. do you think it’s possible to find somebody Pro Bono who will take payment through exposure?"[8]
No, Casey. In the real world, professionals require payment in real money. Not in magic exposure beans.
Casey listens to his talkcast and realizes how badly he came off: "I realize there were some contractions. There was a lot of questioning and from different angles and some miscommunication happens sometimes." He makes two clarifications: he is legally unrepresented, but has "a friend who use to be a lawyer and a judge at one point that I check with sometimes." And he admits that anna@serin.us is "an alias which comes directly to me."[9]
Casey's "serial entrepreneur" comments to further feed Casey's fantasies: "IT IS ALL ABOUT WORKING SMARTER AND BEING MORE CREATIVE THAN THE NEXT GUY."[10]
