Robert Coté Sux

Robert Coté Sux[1] (RCS) is an anonymous blog devoted to attacking Robert Coté, the proprietor of the hater blog exurban nation.

Attacks made by RCS have included the publishing of court documents describing a previous DUI offense by Coté[2]; a number of badly-Photoshopped images in which Coté's head is superimposed on various images, including a now-deleted pornographic scene; a number of tired running gags about Coté's weight, comparing him to a walrus; and the publishing of personal information and lurid sexual allegations on Coté's family members.

Thus far, the anonymous webmaster of RCS has managed to amass one actual picture of Robert Coté and one evidence-backed allegation, which may account for the ever-increasing gap between posts, and an overall level of repetition that would put a Philip Glass symphony to shame.

In a completely unsolicited and uncoordinated response many of Dawg's faithful readers notified Google, the parent company of Blogspot, of the obvious violation by RCS of their TOS (Terms of Service). In response, Google removed some PI (Private Information) details, however some of the contents remaining are still - in the view of some Critics - in violation of said TOS.

Update:

As of 26 May, all the offending items (including all the Photoshop montages) were removed with no explanation, so the blog now looks as though it was last updated on 22 April 2007. Since it was created on April 21st, this makes it look even more shortlived and less inspired than it did before the posts were removed. Unfortunately in a way this serves it's original purpose as an attack blog even better as allegations of TOS are more difficult to level.

As of 17 June 2007 no content (a 404 page not found error) appears at all.
