Rent

Rent is something a person (tenant) pays another person (landlord) for use of a premise.
Casey Serin is supposed to pay Yulia rent for two rooms in her house. He tries to avoid doing this, and has been partially successful in his attempts to avoid rent paying, however, during April Yulia demanded that Casey come up with rent money as well as two months advance deposit or move out by the end of the month.[1]. It is not clear whether Galina would have been permitted to stay if Casey had been kicked out on his ass. Casey managed to pay the rent by using his corporate credit.
During the course of Casey's foreclosure saga, many haterz recommended that Casey rent out as many of the houses as he could in order to generate some income and make at least partial payments towards the mortgages. Casey always claimed that there was some good reason not to (the house was going to be sold, foreclosed on, renovated, wrapped, etc.), virtually all of which came down to the same simple fact: being a landlord involves work, and thus is insufficiently passive to fit into Casey's nap-filled days.
