Snowbird is a ski resort in the mountains above Salt Lake City. Along with neighboring Alta, it is famous as one of the best places in the world for expert powder skiing.

Snowbird is the wintertime home-away-from-home of Haterz™ BelowTheCrowd and events related to the Casey Serin saga have taken place there.

On January 22, 2008, Nigel's sixth KoiCast took place in the lounge at the Iron Blosam Lodge at Snowbird. The location was selected because it is relatively quiet, offers free wifi, good cellular reception and proximity to BTC's condo. There are also unsubstantiated rumors that BTC had the hots for a particular female member of the staff. Unfortunately, the KoiCast was relatively unsuccessful with no major players participating and ended early, allowing the Utah Threesome to retire to the bar area for burgers and beer.

In September, 2008, Casey was flown to Salt Lake City for the eighth and final KoiCast, which was also attended by WWTF and BTC, who was in town for a meeting. Casey subsequently spent almost two weeks in Salt Lake City, mostly living in Nigel's basement, but he also visited Snowbird twice in the days immediately after the KoiCast.

On Saturday, September 20th, WWTF and Casey drove up to Snowbird as Nigel was unable to free himself from work. Unfortunately, rain made it impossible to do much, so the twosome left after a quick stop for Casey to enjoy herbal tea as part of his Master Cleanse routine. During the conversation, Casey reportedly made comments about the imminent collapse of the international monetary system, advised WWTF to solve his liver disease with herbal remedies, and reacted with dismay to the news presented by BTC and WWTF that the vast majority of very successful people actually live fairly humble and normal lives.

The following day, Casey and the Utah Threesome got together at Snowbird for a series of activities. Nigel and BTC enjoyed beers at Snowbird's Oktoberfest while Casey flipped and flopped on the bungee trampoline. The four then rode the Snowbird Tram to Hidden Peak, where Casey jumped off a minor drop-off at the top of the mountain, missed the landing and tumbled over 100 feet.

The Utah threesome were severely criticized by some Haterz for associating with Casey and paying for his flight. WWTF commented on CH.C that the entertainment value had been worth the cost of Casey's plane ticket. Casey eventually made his way home by bus after being kicked out of Nigel's house.

Some have questioned whether BTC's supposed female friend actually exists and whether she is as hot as he has descibed her. WWTF commented on CH.C that she is "absolutely stunning and what in hell she's doing hanging around a mutant like BTC completely baffles me."[1]
