Starbucks, named after a character in Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick, is currently the largest retail coffee chain in the world. Starbucks serves drip brewed coffee, espresso-based hot beverages, tea, and ice-blended drinks. It supplements these liquid offerings with pastries, salads, and sandwiches, as well as selling coffee beans, supplies for home-brewing coffee, books, CDs, and in-store wifi connectivity.
Casey has claimed that life would not be worth living without Starbucks - and he means it literally - not allegorically.
