Steve Serin

Steve Serin (born c. 1986)[1] is one of Casey Serin's brothers, an auto mechanic and car salesman by trade.[2]
Steve is mentioned in the Earth Mission blog. Casey never considered that putting down his brother in a public forum might be considered rude. Also he apparently never considered that a brother who improved his skillz over time and became a better mechanic had managed to do something that continues to elude Casey: learning from mistakes.

Steve's industry contacts came in handy when Vdubs shredded a tire: "Thanks to my brother for the hookup. He is a regular customer and asked them to give me a discount."[3] and again when VDubs was broken into: "My bro the car mechanic / car sales man told me where I can pickup the window for about $50 by checking with VW dismantlers..."[4]
Steve called in to the May 24, 2007 talkcast in which he engaged in some tough love and lambasted Casey for dropping the ball on supporting and protecting his wife. Haterz™ responded very positively to his comments. A transcript is available here.
By all indications, Steve is infinitely more successful than his elder brother.
