Sweet Links Sold Out - $2,255.99 EARNED So Far!
From CaseyPedia
In this episode of IAFF, Casey gloats over his advertising sales. His readers yawn.
Casey's advertising is selling fast, and IAFF is safe for another two weeks. Casey shills for his advertisers like a dancing monkey. It's not a beg-a-thon if you're begging for sponsorship.
He takes a sponsor's online IQ test: "At IQ of 131 it put me in the “gifted” category. Pretty cool!" Serin neglects to mention that his most recent FICO score was lower. However, he does confess that he used a calculator and scratch paper, somewhat defeating the purpose of a test designed to measure innate intelligence.
Nothing else interesting happens.
[edit] Revisions
Casey revises the post several times to add glowing testimonials from advertisers' comments on the previous IAFF post.
Ironically, within 24 hours of getting over $2,000 from various advertisers, early on the morning of May 23 IAFF was down for several hours, apparently due to server problems. It is not clear whether the advertisers have been guaranteed a predefined level of uptime.
On Wednesday 23rd, Casey begins trailing the upcoming Foreclosure Friday talkcast with an announcement at the top of IAFF: "We'll discuss $1,000/week progress, existing debt, future plans, etc. We'll also hear from our Sweet Sponsors." More shilling; can't wait.
[edit] Comments
In the comments, Casey reassures readers that great things are, as usual, coming:
- As for real content and update on my loans, deals, etc… it’s all coming. Don’t worry… i’ll try not to disappoint with more details and blow-by-blow on how I am going to go from Foreclosure to Success by September 10th, 2007. [...] I have a couple of big deals cookin’ that I helped put together. Not sure if they are gonna close yet… too early to tell.
He also addresses the "22K balloon payment" that is now due:
- That private $20k+ private loan is actually two loans from two different private individuals. ONe is for 4K the other for 16K. Not exactly sure of all the reasoning that went into getting more money than I needed that day but that’s what I got to live with. There is a 10% fee upon repayment. Plus a couple of late payments. So I’m look at at over 22K at this point. Need to call and negotiate something one of these days.
No rush.
Advertisers continue to out themselves; the latest is Michael Henry of Retire Young and Wealthy. Sharky Laguana responds angrily to a hater's email: "You strike me as a very sad and small little man. I feel sorry for you."
Casey continues to expand his "it's not begging" donations with a new "supporterz" category:
- Basically… with a payment of $50 or more your name or link will show up in the Last 5 Supporterz in the sidebar, and permanently on the Supporterz page. So this is NOT a donation. It’s a payment for advertising… in a way… and also to show your support.
