I don't have time to check it out right now, but I'm pretty sure the photo of the mailbox and the photo of the sign in the window were the ones he took AFTER the foreclosre when he went back, checked on the property and found the locks changed among other things.

I think there was an earlier photo of the front door, showing the mailbox overflowing onto the ground. That was the state when Casey owned it and applied his world-renowned mail-opening skillz.
