A transcript is under way - hopefully I'll have it up by tonight, once I've got over an impending deadline relating to my looser W-2 cubicle-dwelling job. I'll also flesh out the Ronson piece when I get a chance, as he's a rather more interesting character than your average BBC reporter. Miguel 15:14, 21 June 2007 (CEST)

Thanks Miguel. I found these in a post so I figured I would slap a piece of here.--R-boy 15:41, 21 June 2007 (CEST)
Thanks in advance... one suggestion is to put the transcript on the Ronson page itself, not its own page. Clear out the quotations section, and the transcript will fill the article nicely. If Ronson ever does another interview with "The Great Albino Hope™" we can make a separate page. -- Benoit™ 16:33, 21 June 2007 (CEST)
Brilliant stuff Miguel! flailing forward put it best: "Miguel is the Chuck Norris of transcription. By that, I mean he roundhouse kicks a word processor and a fully transcribed interview comes out." =] --NotAnOptimist 23:30, 21 June 2007 (CEST)
Just so you know, the spelling of 'sympathise' was entirely deliberate, as I used British spelling for Ronson and US spelling for Casey. So I've just corrected the "correction"! Miguel 11:23, 22 June 2007 (CEST)
Good job on this. Looks great! --ClutchGuy 16:10, 22 June 2007 (CEST)

[edit] Good grief...

Talk about deadpan British humour twisting the knife in!

Come on KC - you can't be proud of this can you?

The perfect word I want... is... is... "excoriated." No, "eviscerated." Genius. I am in awe. [bows deeply from waist] MORE! Please transcribe all. And to fellow readers, please sound out Casey's part in your 'mind's ear' with his jaw clenched, and do Jon's with a clipped very proper British accent, with a chipper pace. There is no way the real thing can be half as good as I am imagining it, now. PS: I love the Talking Heads. [makes chopping motion on forearm] To be able to guide the Mursed one to match his statements to interleave PERFECTLY with the lyrics. An artiste. Truly. Hint to Casey -- see, the man has talent. He works. He gets paid. See how that all ties together? -- Soemdood 22:57, 21 June 2007 (CEST)

[edit] Show title?

Does anyone remember the title of this episode? "Jon Ronson On..." but on WHAT? (Some audio on Ronson's site http://www.jonronson.com/ronsonon.html -- I don't have sound here, is any of these the Serin episode?) --Lawnmower man 20:15, 27 June 2007 (CEST)

Sleuthing implies it was "Jon Ronson On... Crushed Egos". Did a Google search for ("jon ronson on" "David Schneider") which gives us 19-Jun-2007 11pm as the date it aired; did another Google search for ("jon ronson on" june 19) and second result's cache has the name. --NotAnOptimist 03:07, 28 June 2007 (CEST)
Awesome work. Shame we don't have linkable audio yet -- unless anyone on EN published a ripped version? -- but title and air date are both useful. --Lawnmower man 06:28, 28 June 2007 (CEST)
