Talk:Modified vegan diet

Pick either "Casey" or "Serin" but don't use both in the same article -- it's confusing.

Prefer "Casey" personally; "Serin" has a whiff of "Swaby added" pompousness. There's also potential for "which Serin?" confusion, although usually it's obvious it's Casey. --Lawnmower man 21:47, 22 May 2007 (CEST)

I've just changed things to "Serin" in the past on other articles, except those mentioning more than one person named "Serin". Just a habit from the Wikipedia days.  ;-\ Benoitâ„¢ 21:52, 22 May 2007 (CEST)

Just fixed a quotation, and: Casey used "loosely vegan". He never said "modified vegan" -- searching IAFF shows this to be a Timeline Guy invention. It's a funnier phrase than "loosely vegan" but not Casey's -- will modify article and categorizations appropriately. --Lawnmower man 21:55, 22 May 2007 (CEST)

done, and redirected loosely vegan diet --Lawnmower man 22:09, 22 May 2007 (CEST)

It needs to be added that Casey had gone hardcore vegan by late 2008 and was all religious about it -- remember the flat birthday cake made without eggs or butter? After he disappeared and resurfaced in May 2009, one of the first pictures was him sitting down to lunch with Angel Lynn and her crew; Casey was tucking into a plate of Cajun beef tips with a side of French Fries. On the Haterzcast, he said he'd dropped the vegan thing. Some good funny could be extracted from all this. WeWantTheFunk 23:51, 21 May 2009 (CEST)
