"As far as I am aware, heavy use of the ™ sign orginated in the hilarious comments by Timeline Guy." ... no, actually, I will take credit for this, although I don't know if Timeline Guy got the idea from me or on his own. I was posting on EN as Benoit™, and there was one topic where Stephanie alleged that I was Timeline Guy because of the latter's use of the symbol. I explained that I'd been signing my handle with the ™ sign since high school. I just tried to find the EN post without success. Bleh. Stephanie says something like "I think Timeline Guy is Benoit".
