Unlimited income potential was cited by Casey Serin as a major advantage to his chosen entrepreneurial lifestyle:

However I don’t have stable income and that is adding a lot of stress into my life right now. Self-employed lifestyle has its downside. But it also has its upside: flexibility, unlimited income potential, etc.[1]

Serin seems to be arguing that by refusing to get a job, he is maximizing his income potential, because normal work will, by definition, have limited income, thereby instantly qualifying Serin as a looser. Of course, the downside to this philosophical approach is that "unlimited" can just as easily mean "zero".
